A MESSAGE FROM Andrew Hayn's Chicago Marathon Fundraising Page For Mercy Home
Running the Chicago Marathon has been such a big dream of mine, and this year, I am beyond excited to say I will be running the 2025 Chicago Marathon on behalf of Mercy Home Charity. My name is Andrew Hayn, and I’m honored to run not just for myself, but for the kids of Mercy Home for Boys & Girls: young people who have faced unimaginable hardships and need a safe place to heal and grow.
For over 135 years, Mercy Home has been a refuge for children experiencing abuse, neglect, homelessness, and poverty. It’s more than just a shelter; it’s a home, providing love, education, mentorship, and the opportunity for a better future. Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and hopeful about tomorrow, and that’s exactly what Mercy Home provides.
I’ve always believed that running is more than just a physical challenge; it’s a way to push limits, to prove that resilience can lead to incredible accomplishments. The kids at Mercy Home show this same resilience every single day as they work toward brighter futures. That’s why I’m dedicating every mile of the Chicago Marathon to them.
But I can’t do this alone. I need your support to make every step count. Your donation, no matter the amount, will directly impact the lives of these children, providing them with shelter, therapy, education, and the tools they need to succeed. Every dollar raised is a step toward hope, healing, and changing a life.
Together, we can turn my 26.2 miles into a lifeline for Mercy Home’s kids. Please consider donating and sharing my page with your friends and family. Let’s make a difference one step, one stride, one child at a time.
Thank you for your support and for being part of this journey with me!
