Thank you for supporting my fundraising efforts for the Mercy Home Heroes Chicago Marathon Team, as well as supporting me in running my first marathon! Advocating for children who experience domestic abuse & neglect is a cause close to my heart & I want to direct the rich network of support I’m blessed to have— here on St Thomas, USVI where I literally wouldn’t make it by without my local friends & family (and, when Caribbean people come together, WHEW mountains get moved), in Chicago where I grew up & will proudly be running my first marathon, & through my community at She Sells of badass saleswomen all over the world who can achieve any feat they set their minds to & make it look easy— toward kids who need it more than anyone at Mercy Home. Time & time again you’ve supported me, shown up for me & backed me up as I’ve gone after my goals which has made such an incredible difference in my life. That same tidal wave of support funneled through Mercy Home will help get kids out of dangerous & harmful situations & into a safe environment with staff who make it their mission to help give them the love, support & resource they deserve & need. Any donation, no matter big or small, will truly change the course for these kids, so thank you for loving on me & thank you tenfold for loving on them.
